I am a passionate and dedicated Multi-Media Designer from the Midwest, newly graduated from Carnegie Mellon University, where I pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama with a focus on Scenic Design. My work is informed by a deep appreciation for the arts, drawing from a rich background in fine arts, muralism, and various styles of formal training, with particular expertise in scenic painting. In addition to my primary focus, I complemented my studies with a minor in Cognitive Neuroscience, which allows me to merge my unique artistic vision with a deeper understanding of human perception and behavior.

I aim to create environments that support and enhance the viewer's experience through close collaboration. I work with a variety of media beyond theatrical productions, including exhibit and trade show design. By blending creativity with specificity, I strive to design spaces that are not only visually stunning but also rich in meaning and atmosphere. I am driven by a desire to push the boundaries of design, using the language of art and science to evoke emotion, inspire thought, and create memorable and moving experiences for all who engage with my work.

The Berlin Diaries (JEFF Recommended)

"Scenic Designer Viscaya Wilson supported the show’s authenticity by creating a plausible and effective space that generated copious domains, from Andrea’s NYC apartment to the snowy streets of Berlin. I loved the family tree that covered one wall, linked to maps of various destinations in South America, Europe and Palestine, as well as New York City and, of course, Berlin"
